One mistake many people make with their meal series is that they take it all in at once. They look at it and think “I need to follow this exactly!". That is so overwhelming!

The series is definitely not a “meal plan”. It is meant to give you inspiration and a place to start, so let us give you a couple tips to make your life easier.

1 - Don’t start out planning to make and eat every single meal or snack included on the meal series.

Like we said, that is so overwhelming and only sets you up for failure. Instead, choose the meal time that you struggle with the most. For example, if dinnertime is always a rushed time that ends up with your stressfully ordering take out, then start by only using the meal series to guide your dinner plans

2 - Don’t plan to make 7 different dishes in a week.

Though we gave you 7 days of meal inspiration, cooking 7 different meals over 7 days is just not realistic. Life happens, plans get changed and you get tired. Instead, choose 2-4 meals from the meal series that sound appealing to you and your family, has a cooking time that fits with your schedule and that is suited to your cooking skills. This allows for some flexibility throughout the week! Don’t feel like salmon tonight? No problem! You can have pasta instead and save the salmon for another night. Easy peasy!
